Sylvia went to the University of Nottingham where she read German and Spanish, splitting the third year of her degree between Universität Bremen and La Universidad de la Habana in Cuba.
After graduating in 2015 she completed the GDL at Nottingham Trent University and volunteered in the Legal Advice Centre there, advising on cases ranging from employment to landlord and tenant disputes.
Following an internship in 2016 in San Diego where she supported the pro bono work of Attorneys predominantly for Central and Latin American refugees, she studied a Masters in International Development at Nottingham Trent University.
Sylvia joined Spearing Waite in June 2017 as a Paralegal within the Commercial Dispute Resolution team and is accumulating experience across a range of areas including debt recovery, lease renewals and breach of contract claims.
