James graduated from the University of Leicester in 2012 with a First Class LLB Law (International) degree which included a year on exchange studying law in Melbourne, Australia. He then completed the LPC at Nottingham Law School, gaining a distinction.
James assists the department on both corporate and corporate finance matters. On the corporate side, James has experience acting for both public and private companies, assisting with a range of matters such as mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and shareholder arrangements.
On the corporate finance side, he has experience acting for both borrowers and lenders, advising on finance and security documents, particularly in relation to real estate finance.
