The Spearing Waite Corporate team has capped off an impressive few months with a special ‘Highly Commended’ award at the annual East Midlands Dealmakers Awards on Thursday 24 May.

Leicester-based Spearing Waite was one of seven law firms to be shortlisted for the Legal Team of the Year award, which was won by Browne Jacobson.

Held at the Nottingham Belfry, the awards were compered by former England rugby star Kyran Bracken, who commented that the judges had decided to award a one-off Highly Commended certificate to Spearing Waite in recognition of the team’s achievements and activity over the past 12 months.

Spearing Waite was also shortlisted in the Deal of the Year and SME Deal of the Year categories.
