Spearing Waite has advised Robert Pochin Limited in its acquisition of Mike Lodge Plumbing and Heating Merchants.

Leicester-based Pochin is one of the Midlands’ largest independently owned plumbing and heating merchants. The company’s heritage dates back to 1861, making it one of Leicestershire’s longest established businesses.

Its purchase of Walsall-based Mike Lodge Plumbing is part of a strategic move to grow its presence in the West Midlands.

Spearing Waite has acted for Pochin on a number of deals, including the recent acquisition of RC Bigwood in Birmingham in 2016.
