Leicester law firm Spearing Waite LLP has strengthened its employment law and family departments with the appointment of two new solicitors.
Katherine Cooke and Stephanie Kyriacou, who have recently qualified as solicitors, joined the practice two years ago as trainees and have now been offered permanent positions.

They were excellent as trainees and I anticipate that they will be excellent as qualified solicitors. We invest in training and Katherine and Stephanie are the living proof of that. A graduate of Birmingham University, Katherine, 26 from Kenilworth, read English and achieved a first class honours degree before converting to Law. She also sat her legal practice course at Birmingham College of Law and passed with a commendation. Stephanie, 25 from Leicester, read law at Leicester University achieving a first class honours degree before taking her legal practice course at De Montfort University where she gained a distinction.
